Refund policy
Refunds, Exchanges, Cancellations & Gift Cards
We can offer a refund on all ready to wear/off the shelf if an item is faulty (ie as in completely falling apart!), not as described, or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. We do also offer a repair service if any item is found faulty, free of charge. Please contact me on feemctoalmillinery@gmail.com or feemctdesign@gmail.com regarding your refund query.
To be eligible for a return, your headpiece must be unworn, not damaged or marked and in the same condition that you had received it in. It must also be in the original packaging if the return postage is dated within 14 days (for UK) and 30 days (Rest of World) of the shipping date. Return postage will be paid by the purchaser. A refund for the headpiece only will then be issued within 5 working days of receipt of the returned headpiece if it meets the above criteria, but in this circumstance the postage cost is non-refundable.
When booking your online appointment, we can amend the dates if required, only up to 48 hours before your confirmed appointment. At the appointment and when confirmed piece has been designed, there will be a 50% deposit required, then 25% at the fitting appointment and balance on collection of headpiece.
Unfortunately, after the appointment and confirmed commission headwear, we are unable to offer a refund to a customer on a commissioned/customised headpiece, hat or fascinator. In the case of a customised headpiece, this is a bespoke order and the headpiece has been specifically created for the individual customer, therefore the headpiece cannot be returned or refundable unless it is faulty before it left the shop.
On sale items , we also are unable to offer refunds when the customer knew an item was described as shop soiled or marked when they bought it (ie knowing it was marked or damaged and still happy to purchase), damaged an item by trying to repair it themselves or getting someone else to do it, or no longer wants an item at their discretion (eg because they have decided that the item is the wrong size or colour, etc) when purchased.
When purchasing a gift card from Fee McToal Design, the gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or no change given. The gift voucher can be redeemed against a commission headpiece created no later than 4 weeks before needed. The gift voucher can be used to purchase ready to wear headpieces within Fee McToal Design.
Also, for hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer refunds on pierced jewellery products.
